Blazing Fires: Climate Change | The World’s Greatest Threat.
— First we are going to talk about how horrible of an impact this has gotten and why it’s worse than years prior. It won’t stop, everyday is another day for disaster.
a few months ago Florida had the hottest ocean water ever recorded. Ever, that’s insane, that is very serious news we need to carry with us going into this sadly. Because that is true evidence of climate change and how it’s closer than ever to fully ruining our world.
101.1 Degrees Fahrenheit.
The reading from a buoy off Florida this week was stunning: 101.1 degrees Fahrenheit, or just over 38 Celsius, a possible world record for sea surface temperatures and a stark indication of the brutal marine heat wave that’s threatening the region’s sea life.
And the sad part, it’s all on us, we started this, didn't we?
I live in Michigan, which has snow most of the year -normally 5 months. Typically we never get anything note-worthy of disasters, no tornados, no earthquakes, no volcanos, no wildfires, no hurricanes. Nothing, but this year was different. We didn’t get one, but two wildfires. That’s scary.
