School Shootings: Problematic America.

Feb. 14th, 2018. Stoneman Douglas Highschool, Parkland FL, USA.

2:21pm Nikolas Cruz walks into the school and wounds 17, kills 17 people with an AR-15 leaving families across the nation heart shattered. In 2018 America topped the highest school shooting list with 24 in one year. So what’s going on? Easy question to answer, mental health, America not taking enough action and bullying. So what did Donald Trump do?

President Donald Trump said he believes he would have intervened in the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, almost two weeks ago. Trump called the behavior of the officer who stayed outside and did not go into the school during the shooting “disgusting” and said he would have gone into the school even if he didn’t have a gun.

This is my answer to what he said last. Really? He would have just walked into the school unarmed and do what?! That wouldn’t be smart. Yes I would want to save the kids in that building too, but simply walking in unarmed is not a good idea.

Doing that may cause more harm than before. And no, I didn’t miss the point he said. I think the officer just standing there is disgusting too.

But what I think America needs to do is eliminating these laws of letting an 18 year old to purchase a gun. Or what I think America should do if they don’t like that…
