The Destruction Of Social Media: It’s so real and more destructive than we recognize.

More and more studies are showing how social media destroys our well-being and is killing us on the inside yet we swipe until we die. But it took me not even 24hrs but 30 minutes to see the side effects social media brought into my personal life. Hey, I’ve been off social media for a couple days and I’m only going back on to share this message… AUG. 20th

-So I’ve been off social media for not even 30mins now and I’m already seeing a difference.

What social media does, here’s what I had to say:

It rips away the authentic image of ourselves.

It takes away potential time away from God.

It shows us what people aren’t actually like in real life.

It steals our time and ruins our real social life with others.

It brings us all lust and envy and judgement towards others and their beliefs.

It distracts us from what we really should be doing.

It causes depression, anxiety and self doubt, self hatred and more.

So far I’m not seeing any benefits in social media. Besides staying in touch with friends and family. Which we should already should be doing instead of being indulged into a…
