- You already know that you need to lose weight, affirm that you can.
- When you say “lose weight,” what you mean is “I have too much fat, and I want to lose that fat, even if I lose some muscle”
For most people in western countries, both of these will be true. There are four basic ways to approach losing weight. They can be approached simultaneously, but it’s important to distinguish starting points:
- Exercise of some form (cardio, resistance training) Start with a 5–10min workout and go from their, even going for runs. Before you start your workout take a cold shower to get your blood pumping!
2. Change how much you eat (reduce calories)
avocados, eggs, lemons. pine nuts, blueberries, skim milk, oranges, veggies and apples.
3. Change what you eat (e.g. keto diet, vegan diet)
4. Change when you eat (e.g. intermittent fasting)
